# Solved: ROG Armoury Crate button and system controls not working

> Here’s how I got my ROG button to launch Armoury Crate as it’s supposed to and also get the system controls working!

## The steps!

1.  Search for your ASUS ROG system’s model number [here](https://www.asus.com/uk/support/download-center/)
2.  You may see a list of available drivers, click `EXPAND ALL`
3.  If you have Armoury Crate already installed then uninstall this and search for `Armoury Crate & Aura Creator Installer` in the driver page – download and install this – do NOT download it from the generic Armoury Crate page!
4.  Now download and install the `Armoury Crate Control Interface` driver (NB. there may be multiple versions, but I found installing Version 1 works)
5.  Now download and install the `ASUS Smart Display Control` driver
6.  Restart your system and you are done!
